DENGUE PATROL Campaign in KB Mall

Today marks another memory for us, SKSIS teachers and students for having the opportunity to spread our dengue patrol campaign in one of the biggest shopping malls in Kelantan which is the KB Mall. There are several activities planned for today's programme which are :

We hope that our small effort could bring awareness to the public with regards to the danger of aedes mosquitoes and dengue disease.

Our dengue patrol squad hit Kg Kubang Bemban today for a communal work, cleaning the kampung area concomitant with our dengue patrol campaign. We took this opportunity to spread the information about aedes mosquitoes and dengue disease to the villagers within Kg.Kubang Bemban.

Our dengue patrol squad hit UMK (Pengkalan Chepa campus) on behalf of our dengue patrol campaign. We had handed in the flyers about our campaign to one of the representatives of UMK, En .Khairil in spreading this campaign to other students,lecturers and staffs in UMK. Tq so much to En. Khairil for the cooperation given.

The Colouring Competition of The Dengue Patrol Programme

SKSIS dengue patrol with the community programme went as had been planned. We gathered at the Pasir Mas railway station to give enlightenment about dengue and distribute flyers to the public.

The Launching Ceremony of Dengue Patrol Programme

The launching ceremony went well. This program was officiated by Dr.Ahmad Zakimi bin Abdullah from the HRPZII Emergency Department Kota Bharu.

There were several activities held after the launching ceremony which are :

1)The palm stamping on the banner as to show the support towards this programme.

2) Distributing flyers to the students in order to spread the information about dengue and how to prevent the disease.

Hope all the activities done will give some insight and information about this campaign which is the dengue awareness and ultimately educating the students as well as the teachers and the communities upon the danger of aedes mosquitoes and dengue disease.
