This video compiles the activities under the community service that were done during the dengue patrol campaign 2015 by Sekolah Kebangsaan Sultan Ibrahim 1, Pasir Mas, Kelantan.

PERFORMANCE ART

This is the performance made by the students of SKSIS in conjunction of the Dengue patrol campaign. The performance is the integration of west meets east element which is choral speaking and "dikir barat". The combination of these two elements had created an awesome factor to be enjoyed by the audiences. Not only that, the lyrics  contain useful information about aedes mosquitoes and dengue disease that could be taken away by the audience in a fun way while enjoying the performance.

DENGUE PATROL SKSIS FM

ON AIR ONCE A WEEK EARLY IN THE MORNING. 

SKSIS Dengue Patrol fm is on aired 10 - 15 minutes every morning before the school starts. The deejays will talk about aedes mosquitoes as well as the dengue disease to everyone in the school.

The closing ceremony of our Dengue Patrol Programme 2015

The 'killing' of giant aedes mosquito today at our school signifies the end of our dengue patrol campaign. However, eventhough the campaign is officially end, the knowledge and awareness that we take away during this campaign will be as our 'reservoir' to be used in educating the students as well as the community upon the danger of aedes mosquitoes and dengue fever. It is indeed a lifetime memorable experience for us to oblige for such a good cause.

DENGUE PATROL Campaign in KB Mall

Today marks another memory for us, SKSIS teachers and students for having the opportunity to spread our dengue patrol campaign in one of the biggest shopping malls in Kelantan which is the KB Mall. There are several activities planned for today's programme which are :

Our dengue patrol squad hit Kg Kubang Bemban today for a communal work, cleaning the kampung area concomitant with our dengue patrol campaign. We took this opportunity to spread the information about aedes mosquitoes and dengue disease to the villagers within Kg.Kubang Bemban.

Our dengue patrol squad hit UMK (Pengkalan Chepa campus) on behalf of our dengue patrol campaign. We had handed in the flyers about our campaign to one of the representatives of UMK, En .Khairil in spreading this campaign to other students,lecturers and staffs in UMK. Tq so much to En. Khairil for the cooperation given.

The Colouring Competition of The Dengue Patrol Programme

SKSIS dengue patrol with the community programme went as had been planned. We gathered at the Pasir Mas railway station to give enlightenment about dengue and distribute flyers to the public.

The Launching Ceremony of Dengue Patrol Programme

The launching ceremony went well. This program was officiated by Dr.Ahmad Zakimi bin Abdullah from the HRPZII Emergency Department Kota Bharu.

There were several activities held after the launching ceremony which are :

1)The palm stamping on the banner as to show the support towards this programme.

2) Distributing flyers to the students in order to spread the information about dengue and how to prevent the disease.

Hope all the activities done will give some insight and information about this campaign which is the dengue awareness and ultimately educating the students as well as the teachers and the communities upon the danger of aedes mosquitoes and dengue disease.

INTRODUCTION

Hi readers. This is the official blog for our school, SK Sultan Ibrahim 1 Dengue Patrol 2015 programme. This programme is an initiative from the Sanofi Pasteur Company in cultivating strong civic awareness among our children as well as the communities against dengue disease and we are one of the schools involved in this programme. There will be activities and programmes planned by our schools regarding this porgramme in showing our support towards the dengue awareness.

OBJECTIVES

TO INTENSIFY AWARENESS ON DENGUE AMONG STUDENTS AND THE COMMUNITIES.

• TO INITIATE ACTIVITIES THAT ENCOURAGE THE PREVENTION OF DENGUE AND PROTECTION AGAINST AEDES MOSQUITOES.
